Job Overview:
The Paid Media Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing paid search, display, demand generation, and Performance Max campaigns aimed at driving business growth. The ideal candidate is results-driven with a deep understanding of digital media strategy and a passion for data analysis. This position will also assist in strategy development by deriving insights from past performance and cross-client learnings. Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute, optimize, and manage campaigns across digital media platforms, with a primary focus on paid search and display.
- Collaborate with the analytics and strategy teams to analyze campaign data, identify opportunities, and optimize performance
- Implement and manage tracking systems using Google Analytics UTMs and Google Tag Manager.
- Develop and refine paid search strategies, including keyword expansion and negative keyword management.
- Manage budget allocations and adjust bid parameters to ensure campaigns deliver the most efficient results.
- Stay informed on industry trends and provide data-backed recommendations for ongoing optimizations.
- Communicate insights, challenges, and successes to account teams and management for continuous improvement
- Effectively communicate complex strategic and tactical shifts in client-facing meetings
- Contribute to monthly client reporting with in-depth data analysis and actionable insights.
- Ensure all campaigns meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and long-term business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Expert-level knowledge of media concepts, terms, creative restrictions and guidelines
- 4+ years of experience in performance-based digital media, with a strong focus on paid search and display.
- Proven experience in digital media buying and campaign management.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with team members on a regular basis.
- Proficiency in setting up, managing, and launching media campaigns across multiple platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Ads Certifications – Search and Measurement Certifications
- Experience working in a digital media agency.
- Utilization of Project Management software such as Asana
